270 km to the north from Rovaniemi, in Ketomella, not on the beach, distance to the river Ounasjoki 350 m, along the road 1,2 km, no own beach, no boat.

Wooden apartment in the semi-detached house, built in 1988. Note: the other half of the apartment is not for rent.
There are 2 bunk beds, lower beds can be spread as double beds. Sauna and washroom/WC.
Kitchenette with kitchen sink and drain, fridge and 2 hotplates.
Cooking hut at the large yard. The old house shown in the pictures is uninhabited. Sleigh rides and wilderness meals can be requested from the owner.
Ketomella 2 is located close to the border of Pallas-Yllästunturi national park. Fells (Ounastunturit) can be seen from the windows. The national park starts on the other side of the Ounasjoki river - you can go for hiking or skiing easily. Nearest hiking trail 1,5 km, runs via lake Hietajärvi to the fells.
This destination suits well snowmobile riders, minimum distance to the snowmobile routes is 2,5 km.

Fishing: Fishing is permitted in Ketokoski (part of river Ounasjoki) and in other state owned water areas by purchasing following permit: Ounasjoki-Käkkälöjoki-Pöyrisjoki 1556 (www.eraluvat.fi).
Hunting: small game hunting area on state owned lands, Nunnanen 1616 (www.eraluvat.fi).
