FOREST TREK WITH FATBIKE in Jyväskylä

This easy-going fatbike excursion takes you to experience the amazing nature of Jyväskylä. We will get to know the diverse nature and sights by cycling. 

The excursion will start at the parking lot of Tuomiojärvi beach. In the beginning of the excursion we will ride on easy sandy cycle paths. Later on during the excursion we will visit some local sights, one of which is Haukanniemi nature conservation area where you can choose to follow a very easy or a quite easy path. We will also cycle along Tourujoki river and stop by Jyväskylä harbor. This excursion is suitable for people of normal health and capable of riding a bike.

Fatbike is easy and smooth to ride also in offroad terrain and it has an excellent grip on the snow. These events are suitable for beginners, but be warned you will get hooked to fatbike-riding very easily! The final route will be modified according to the participants' needs.

 

Price: 69e/person (includes bike, guide, technical guiding, helmet)
Personal gear: Open and happy spirit, suitable clothing for the weather and riding, warm gloves, warm and firm high boots, water bottle, headwear (fits under the helmet)

Regular outdoor equipment such as skiing. (Usually people wear too much clothing)
We recommend a small backpack with a bottle and a break jacket and some snacks.
