Cozy log cabin, suitable as an additional accommodation when booking the cabin 8426 Härkälinna, but can also be rented separately for a small family or a group of friends.

37 km to the north from Hämeenlinna, lake Iso-Roine 135 m (length 8 km, width 2 km), shallow sandy beach, hard bottom, suitable for children. The beach is in shared use, own rowing boat available.

Log cabin 2006, living room/kitchen with sofa bed 120 cm, double bunk bed (lower and upper bunk width 160 cm), access from the upper bunk to the loft with a 120 cm mattress. Below the loft is a washroom with shower and toilet. The cabin does not have own sauna, in common use with neighbors (cabins 8421 - 8425) there is a lakeside sauna by the lake Iso-Roine Distance is 100 m and private use 20 is euros/hour. From the sauna, you can plunge directly into the water by going down the stairs.

The cabin is located on a hillside with a total of 5 identical cabins (Ukko, Tapio, Aino, Ahti, Vellamo). Aino is the second of the cabins on the right when you rise to the slope. The distances between the cabins are about 20 meters.

The owner offers a hot tub for rent.

Pets are allowed in this destination, extra fee will be applied. Price is per pet.

Reservations start at 16.00 and end at 12.00. The cabin has a terrace with a gas grill (one container of LPG is included in the price) and round log-built table. The cabin does not have sun loungers.

In the courtyard there is a common wood storage for the five cabins (fireplace trees are included in the price) and a sandbox for children. The yards of the cabins are mainly in a natural state. Within 50 m from the cabin, there is a meadow area offering the opportunity for many kinds of activities.

Please respect the neighbors, as well as others living nearby. The silence is between 22.00 and 7.00.

General information:
Cabins owned by Leppäniemi Hirsihuvilat company are located in Hauho, on the shores of the clear-watered and fishy lake Iso-Roine, near the hill Utterinvuori. The company has 13 homely and well-equipped log cabins for year-round use. Space for 120 people.

The environment offers excellent outdoor and off-water opportunities. About 40 acres of nature conservation area, private 21-lane disc golf course, berry and mushroom picking possibilities, campfire sites, varied fishing and crayfish catching possibilities (guided tours also available). The 2.5-hectare meadow area between Härkälinna (cabin no. 8426) and the beach has a badminton / volleyball court, some frisbee golf courses and medieval-style competition equipment and facilities that can be used with a guided tour (competition field on request). The meadow can be used freely by the guests of 13 cabins. In winter, cross-country ski trails (if snow situation allows), hole in the ice (for swimming) on request, ice fishing and ice skating.

Hauho is easily reachable in the middle of Lahti and Tampere. You can drive from Hämeenlinna in 30 minutes and from Helsinki in 1.5 hours.
