Two-story, well-equipped silver log cottage built in 2009. Location by lake Jyrkylinjärvi, no other cabins nearby.
Livingroom with sofa-bed, upstairs (= bedroom, steep stairs) 4 single beds, kitchen. Electric sauna and shower, outdoor terrace. Underfloor heating throughout the ground floor including shower and sauna.

Wood-burning barrel-sauna by shore. Boat available. Beach, shallow and sanded (deeper muddy bottom), 30 m away. Coastline of approx. 500 m. Open and large courtyard, sandy volleyball court.

The cottage is located on a forest area of about 80 ha, of which the cottage plot is about 5 ha. Next to the Mäntyranta cottage is a 50 ha nature reserve. Heinävesi (store, restaurant, gas station, etc.) 15 km, Pääskyvuori Ski Resort 15 km, Varkaus 45 km, Savonlinna 77 km, Joensuu 95 km, spa Vesileppis 50 km.

Good fishing opportunities. Outboard boat (100e/week) and canoe rental, as well as linen and final cleaning services (owner gives more information). Guest brings charcoal and fluid for the barbecue by himself.

Cottage can be reached by car all year round.
