VILLA SPRINGROCK is a unique multifunctional villa located in Janakkala. It offers year-round peace and privacy without any neighbours within its 3 hectares of forest.

Villa Springrock is hidden away along a quiet road. Even though the closest neighbours are plenty of forest and some fields the villa is located very close to the population centre of Finland, in Janakkala. That is only 9 kilometres from the Helsinki-Tampere highway, 87 kilometres from Helsinki, 110 kilometres form Tampere and 65 kilometres from Lahti.

Villa Springrock offers a unique alternative for accommodation, cosy meetings, re-creational events, family celebrations, vacations and hiking for up to 28 guests. Enjoy all the comforts including proper toilets, air conditioning, comfy beds, modern kitchen and a gorgeous sauna. Relax in the hot tub and the outdoor jacuzzi and enjoy the warmth of an evening campfire. Experience the atmosphere of a 50-year-old recently and faithfully renovated rare brick-built villa. Villa Springrock lets you wind down surrounded by modern comforts, with a hint of the 70’s vibe!

The 220 m2 renovated villa has a dining and meeting area for around 20 persons, 22–25 bed places, 5–8 bedrooms, a dressing room, 3 showers, a modern sauna for up to 10 persons and 3 toilets.

The sauna experience is made perfect with the 5-person outdoor jacuzzi and a wood-heated traditional 6-person hot tub located right next to the sauna area. There is also an idyllic wood-heated garden sauna for our traditional sauna fans.

Our guests also have almost 100 m2 of terraces at their use. The villa’s inner yard terrace has space for 20 guests to sit and the terrace next to the sauna area has space for 10 guests to cool off between and after the sauna.

MAIN HALL AND MEETING ROOM: The villas large 45 m2 main hall / meeting room has space for 20 guests to sit by the long table and the large sofa area. In addition, there is a comfy dressing room / lounge area behind the gorgeous open fireplace with a scenery bar and a view across the forest garden.

The dressing room / lounge area also functions as a working area for small teams or as a bedroom since the convertible sofas offer bed places for 2 persons. The cosy cabinet next to the dressing room / lounge area has sliding doors which can be used to separate the cabinet from the other areas to form another working area.

Villa Springrock is equipped with a fast and wireless internet access that is free of charge for our customers. The main hall has a 70” flat screen TV and the dressing room / lounge area and cabinet have each 55” flat screen TVs. The TVs can easily be used for example as presentations screens, to watch a decisive game with friends or to host a karaoke evening!

The main hall has direct access to the evening sun terrace and forest garden where the garden sauna, BBQ area, outdoor jacuzzi and the hot tub is also located.

ACCOMMODATION: The main building’s bedroom has 14 bed places and the accommodation cabin right next to the villa has two bedrooms with 3 bed places raising the total bed places to 20. In addition, there are 8 convertible sofas in the main building giving a total of 25 bed places. The game hall has an extra 4 convertible sofas as well. There are pillows and blankets for each bed place.

The accommodation cabin has a completely different feel to the main building and is perfect for guests in need of a more rough and traditional countryside mood! It is located 10 metres from the main buildings toilet and kitchen keeping morning routines and breakfasts easy and effortless.

KITCHEN: Villa Springrock’s kitchen is equipped with tableware for at least 22 persons, an electric oven and stove, a large fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave, 2 Moccamaster coffee makers, an electric kettle and a toaster.

We also gladly offer catering services, but you are welcome to bring your own food, beverages and cooking ingredients also. There’s no denying that cooking together is great fun!

SAUNA COMPARTMENT, SHOWERS AND TOILETS: The indoor sauna fits 8–10 persons at a time. The shower room has 2 showers and the bathroom has direct access to the terrace. The villa has 3 toilets. There is a separate shower room next to the bedrooms with a single shower.

GARDEN SAUNA: There is a separate garden sauna in the yard. Due to its peculiar shape this unique garden sauna is wider than a normal sauna and therefore fits up to 8 persons at the same time. If you’ve never experienced a cosy garden sauna then now is the time! It is located on the terrace right next to the indoor sauna’s showers, hot tub and outdoor jacuzzi, and is also usable year-round.

HOT TUB AND OUTDOOR JACUZZI: The traditional wood-heated 6-person hot tub and the modern electric 5-person outdoor jacuzzi are located right next to the sauna compartment.

SPRING POND AND SWIMMING SPOT: The spring pond located in front of the main building enables quick refreshing dips to the pond in the summer and a nippy ice hole experience during winter (please notice that after a long dry season the water level might be very low and therefore the pond unusable).

The closest swimming spot is at the pond Rahitunlammi, a 7-minute drive away from the villa. Rahitunlammi is a small clear-water pond deep between ridges. The swimming spot has a pier with a jumping platform, changing rooms and a toilet.

GAME HALL: The 35 m2 game hall located 50 metres from the main building has been decorated with a wilderness ambience in mind. It offers fun games such as table football, darts, traditional Finnish darts and there is also a pool table. Spice up your stay with some healthy competition!

The game hall works also as an informal meeting room. In addition, there are 4 convertible sofas and a fridge to keep your beverages nice and cool. We rent the game hall as an extra service for an extra fee.

FOREST GARDEN, TERRACES AND BBQ AREA: The main buildings terrace has table groups for up to 30 persons leaving no one standing even with larger groups! The BBQ area is located in the centre of the forest garden with a view of the peaceful forest scenery.

Villa Springrock’s base price includes the approx. 220 m2 multifunctional villa’s facilities with the use of the sauna section. Extra services include the use of garden sauna, outdoor jacuzzi, hot tub, barbecue area, final cleaning, bed linen made or in sheets as a stack, and towels. In addition, we are happy to provide food, transport and other additional services.
