Note! The island resort, which is suitable for a maximum of 15 adults and 6 children.

20 km east of Tampere, island Korkeasaari, lake Vesijärvi 10 m, three different beaches in different parts of the island, low beach for children and deeper beach for adults, three piers.

Island is 100 m away from parking place. There is a pedal ferry, which can accommodate max. 10 persons at a time. The rental price also includes use of a canoe.

There is a two-storey villa, an outbuilding and a turf-roofed lakeside sauna built in 1901.

On the ground floor of the villa there is living room, kitchen, dining room and hallway.
Upstairs, bedroom with double bed and one bed, bedroom with foldable sofa-bed and one bed, two sleeping alcoves, both with 2 mattresses in beds attached to the wall (see pictures).

An outbuilding: on the ground floor 2 separate bedrooms with bunk beds for three in each (down foldable sofa-bed and on top bunk bed), upstairs (steep stairs) 3 sofa beds for max. five people.

Lakeshore sauna with dressing room and pier, where a covered seating area. Brick-built barbecue and gas grill next to the pier.

Yard House, where the compost toilets are located (women and men), woodshed and storage room. This is the only villa on the island! Korkeasaari (0,6 ha) is a hillock island. Villa is located at the highest point of the island.
The furnishing is reflecting the age and history of the 100 years old house. Kitchen with wood stove, gas stove, water pipe (both warm and cold water comes from the lake via filter), fireplace in the living room. Basic heat of the premises is produced bythe electric heating. Baking oven not in use.

Catering services for parties and meetings can be ordered in advance.
This destination is ideal for multiple families at the same time, and for people who are travelling with the dogs. Note! The destination is not available for groups which consists only people whose age is less than 25 years. The island is rocky and there are plenty of stairs and narrow trails. Due to that, this is not an ideal destination for people with reduced mobility.

Hiking trips to the Haralanharju observation tower and café 8 km. The tower offers breathtaking views over the lake Vesijärvi.

Messukylä golf center 18 km, services of Tampere are 20 minutes away. Tampere-Pirkkala Airport 35 km, Vaihmalan Hovi 45 km.

Note! Final cleaning cannot be purchased in this destination. Please carry out final cleaning according to the booking conditions by yourself before departure. Final cleaning includes the following tasks: vacuum carpets and floors are, wipe tables with a damp cloth, wash the dishes, put the dishes in place, wash the sauna and toilet and empty the trash bins and take the trashes to the garbage collection. Final cleaning must be done on the day of departure, not earlier.
