The Luppokumpu is an authentic wilderness cottage in Kittilä, situated on the banks of the Kapsajoki river. On the other side of the cottage you’ll have a wonderful view to the river - rich in fish - and on the other side you’ll see a real Laplandish peatland landscape.
The cottage is situated near to the Levi Resort and slopes. We can take you there with our snow scooter or hovercraft in approx. 30 minutes (depending on the circumstances).
In addition to the amenities at the cottage, you can order supplementary services, e.g. Finnish Smoke Sauna and swimming in the icy river, having a soirée in our characteristic tipi-like hut, or different sorts of meal services. You can go snow scootering (the official route is within 500 meters), boating, skiing or cycling. We also organize wilderness excursions such as a snow scooter safari to the Kumputunturi (arctic hill) or a fishing trip to the river.
With us you’ll get an authentic touch to the Laplandish nature – you’ll be part of it!
