170 km to the north from Tornio, 25 km to the southwest from Kolari municipality center, by Torne river, in location where Torne river and its tributary river Muonionjoki join together, on the border of Finland and Sweden. Distance to the beach is about 40 m, the water level varies.
3 river boats with outboard motors can be rented from the owner. The fuel is included in the rental fee.
Koski-Lappea is a magnificent reconstructed building. The building was built originally for log drivers of Torne river. It was moved to its current position in 2000. The building has large living room/kitchen with sofa bed. On the upper floor 2 bedrooms (sloping ceilings) with 2 beds in both and living area with sofa bed. Sauna, washroom, fireplace room, separate WC and terrace on the riverside. There is a balcony with view over the river and separate WC on the upper floor.
The house has two TVs (in living room and living area on the upper floor) and Bluetooth speaker and optical fiber. There's a large baking oven in the living room. Chest freezer for fish storage. Electric grill and smoker. Campfire site near the boat beach, distance 150 m.
In addition to fishing tourism services, Koski-Lappea is offering beautiful and peaceful natural environment. There are good conditions for fishing grayling and salmon throughout the summer; fishing either from the beach or from the boat is possible.
The Torne river and river Muonionjoki are joining together in the area of beautiful Lappea village, in place where the waters from the Swedish and Finnish fells are mixing and creating Lappea rapids. The Lappea pool (in Torne river) is a well-known spot for salmon fishing. Good opportunities to catch Baltic Sea wild salmon. Finland's largest salmons are caught in Kolari municipality area, many kinds of fishing tourism services are available in the villages located on the river bank. In Koski-Lappea you can fish on a river section surrounded by three rapids. Salmon fishing can be done by traditional way from a rowing boat or from the beach by fly-fishing or by casting lures. Fishing spots on the beach are located by the rapids Lappeankoski and Ääverkoski.

Hunting: small game hunting area on state owned lands, 2604 Kolari begins from the Lappea area (www.eraluvat.fi).
