Puijo tower

This sturdy observation tower looks out over sparkling Lake Kallavesi. The 75-metre frame of the tower, or the “mallet”, has history going back to the 19th century. The restaurant on top of the tower rotates on one of the largest cogwheels in the world. Here you can feel the wonderful Kuopio area spinning around you.
