Settlement Museum

The Museum Trail brings you to the heart of the Finnish countryside. The Finnish Museum of Resettlement is a unique museum area located in Alapitkä, Lapinlahti. The houses and objects give a true picture of the living conditions and everyday life of the past, and are an amazing example of the cultural heritage of a Finnish farming community. The museum area consists of a type-planned house for the family, barn, sauna and threshing house. Both young and old will be touched by the nostalgic atmosphere of the recent history of rural life.
