The Tyrnihovi lakeside lodge was built in 2008 to the shore of lake Kallavesi. This two story house is suitable for both summer and winter use and is located only about 2,5 hours (210 km) from Helsinki, and 10 km from a small town called Mäntyharju.

The Tyrnihovi lodge is well equipped with a large kitchen-living room, a bedroom, a separate toilet and a bathroom downstairs and three bedrooms upstairs. As a luxury element you can adjust the indoor temperature with an AC-unit downstairs.

The Tyrnihovi lodge is suitable for a maximum of ten people with eight people sleeping in the main building and two in a separate guest house/sauna.

The spacious and cozy kitchen is equipped with up-to-date commodities such as an electric oven and stove, fridge, microwave oven, coffee maker and a toaster. If you wish, you can also use the wood stove to cook your delicious dinner. The crockery is suited for 10 people and dishes are easily done with the dishwasher. From the floor heated bathroom you can also find a washing machine if you wish to do your clothes.

From the kitchen-living room you can access a big, partially covered patio where you can do your own BBQ or just relax and lean on a deck chair and enjoy the view and the weather.

As a space divider between the kitchen and living room is a big Ostrobothnian style wood oven and a fireplace.

The wood-heated sauna/guest house is located close to the water and only about 30 meters away from the main building. The guest house/sauna is equipped with a shower, a kitchenette and a toilet. From the patio you can enjoy the sunset and a spectacular lake view and of course, take a swim.

Tyrnihovi is just 400 meters from fishing opportunities of Lake Survaa. You can book Lake Survaa for your groups private fishing. In addition, the lakeside sauna has a rowing boat and the fishing possibilities of Lake Kallavesi
