A truly stunning villa at Hurissalo, situated on Finland’s famous Lake Saimaa. The villa is situated in the heart of Finland’s lake district and is 264km from Helsinki Vantaa airport and 133km from Lappeenranta airport. The villa is close to main transport routes including road and rail links to Mikkeli. The villa is ideally located to enjoy the sign-posted boat routes through the Vuolte Canal to experience some of Finland’s finest natural beauty and rock scenery. This region is extremely peaceful, and visitors can enjoy the tranquil surroundings in total privacy (no close neighbours).
From the jetty, you can relax and enjoy Lake Saimaa’s pure waters and surrounding views of beautiful forest and countryside views. The sandy beach invites you to relax, play, socialize or swim. There are various ways to sunbathe on the jetty, beach or on the numerous patio areas.
The main building
Originally built in 1986, the main building has been extended and completely refurbished in 2006. The main building offers a large living space of around 150 m2 and includes a lounge, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, separate toilet, two bedrooms and an open-plan loft for additional sleeping space. The main building benefits from around 200 m2 of covered patio areas allowing ample space for socializing.
In the loft there are facilities for sleeping 2+2 people and the main building has sleeping facilities for 8 people.

From the lake there is a stunning view to Lake Saimaa and direct access to the large jetty. The sauna cabin has sleeping facilities for 2 people. Sleeping cabin The sleeping cabin is a log cabin, with two floors. On the ground floor there are two separate sleeping facilities and upstairs there is a large bedroom.
