Vilpola

15 km south-east of Mikkeli, Lake Saarijärvi 10 m (length 3,5 km and width 1,5 km), hard, really gently deepening sand beach is well suited also for small children, 30-40 m to the swimming depth for adults, own rowing boat with electric outboard motor.

Log cabin is built in 2018, kitchen-living room with convertible sofa (width 120 cm), 3 mattresses on the loft, steep stairs to the loft. Entrance to the washing facilities through the terrace; toilet, shower and wood-heated sauna.

A sleeping hut with two rooms of 9 square meters each, built in 2020. In both rooms there are alternative 2 beds. Maximum number is 4 persons. The sleeping hut has heating but is not used in winter time (can be used from first of May till the end of September yearly). Vilpola is a lovely small cottage with excellent location. Peaceful holiday home for a small family or group. The loft is low and stairs to the loft are steep, so entrance to the loft can be quite challenging.

Summer Cafe Raijan Aitta 0,5 km (open for example on 2018: 15.6. - 31.8. at 10-18, in June home cooking lunch at 12-13.30).
