Notkola is a nostalgic cabin located in the middle of traditional countryside.

36 km north from Nurmes, pond Kelolampi 200 m (about 700 m x 200 m), deep mud bottom, own boat, pier will be constructed in spring 2021. Wooden holiday apartment, built in 1954, renovated between 2015 and 2018 (kitchen, sauna and toilets completely, inner walls in the rest of the rooms).

Living room/kitchen with sofa bed, bedroom with double bed and fireplace, another bedroom with 2 beds (access to this bedroom from the firstly mentioned bedroom). Wood-heated sauna, washroom, dressing room and terrace. Covered cooking area. There is a horse riding stable called Kelokoski horses next door, the distance is 500 m. Distance to the state owned hunting areas is 10-20 km. Fish species in pond Kelolampi: pike and perch. The cabin is surrounded by a terrain which offers good possibilities for picking berries. Disc golf course (Lokkiharjuntie), public swimming beach and illuminated ski trail in Valtimo, distance about 12 km. There is 4 km long illuminated ski trail in Puukari (18 km distance from the cabin). 39 km of ski trails (no illumination) in total in Valtimo. Vuokatti ski slopes 76 km, Koli ski slopes 109 km.
