Market hall

This horn of plenty in the northern Finnish town of Oulu stands under the watchful eye of the famous market square policeman statue. The 110 year-old market hall is a favourite among the locals and offers visitors a taste of delicious treats, old-time atmosphere and everything from handicrafts to old recipes. On special occasions, you have a chance to taste some of the local specialities such as salmon soup or old-fashioned lollipops.
