This cabin is an ideal destination for guests who want to enjoy nature and own peace. This destination offers magnificent views over the surrounding lake Pielavesi. The cove located close to the cabin is offering good fishing possibilities. In this destination, you can relax by swimming, going to wood heated sauna and observing the nature from the glazed terrace.

The caretaker brings a container with 20 l drinking water for the start. More water can be picked up from Pielavesi center from exercise hall. You can also buy water from the shop. Washing water is carried from lake.

52 km southwest from Iisalmi, island Ketronsaari, lake Pielavesi 35 m, pier, own rowing boat. Rowing from the mainland to the island is about 370 m.

Wood-built cabin (1968), living room with sofa bed (160x200 cm bed), living room/kitchen (LPG stove and refrigerator), open fireplace, dining group for six, sleeping alcove (75x190 cm wide bed, that can be spread into 140 x 190 cm wide bed). Sauna (wood-burning sauna stove), small dressing room, glazed terrace, separate outdoor toilet, woodshed.

The electricity on the cabin is based on solar panels. Please bring a 12V charger to charge your mobile phone.

Bed linen cannot be purchased as an additional service in this destination, so please bring your own bed linen and towels with you. The yard area of the cabin is rocky, rocks are covered with moss. When the moss is moist, the rocks can be very slippery. There are two swimming spots. A spot, located in front of the cabin, is deep-bottomed, and it has rocky/gravel bottom. Another child-friendly swimming spot is located near the beach where the boat is standing. This beach is shallow, and it has gravel/muddy bottom.
