Wilderness cabin by Julmajärvi lake, next to Palotunturi fell, built in 2010.

Living room and two sleeping alcoves with 2 beds each. Household water from lake (boiling of the drinking water before usage is recommended). Sauna in separate building, own rowing boat, decent beach for swimming.
Facilities in wilderness cabins are often more modest than in holiday cottages. Cabin is not preheated before customers arrival. Due to long distances maintenance can not check the cabin after all customers. If the destination is not cleaned or there are deficiencies, please contact the owner immediately on arrival. Please, remember to bring your own bed linen and towels (can not be rented).
This cabin requires outdoor attitude and skills (how to make fire, for example). If youre not sure, please consider another option. Water is not examined yearly so boiling the drinking water before use is recommended.


In the wilderness lakes in the area theres whitefish, perch and pike. Area of the Palotunturi is protected old forest (more infomation: http://matkailu.posio.fi/en/Places-to-visit/Nature-destinations/Palotunturi-Nature-Path).
Good spots for Cloudberry picking near the cabin.

Pyytökämppä 1 and 2 are identical. Distance between these 2 cabins is about 1 km (there is some other neighbor cabin more near).

By car you can reach the cottage yard in summer time. In winter time car park is about 1,7 km away (notice also spring thaw period).
