An old log cabin with modern amenities provides an atmospheric setting for a family holiday as well as a small, peaceful celebration.

75 km to the northeast from Helsinki, at the farms yard area (not located by the water).
There is renovated living room/kitchen (air source heat pump, no dishwasher) in the cabin. Two bunk beds and spreadable sofa bed for two in the bedroom. Low beds on the upper floor. The height of the room on the upper floor is approx. 2 m. There are also wood-heated sauna, shower and WC in the washroom located in the same building.

Note! There is no final cleaning available in this destination. The customer must carry out the final cleaning (incl. cabin, sauna, yard area, and barbecue site) carefully on the day of departure. This destination offers a countryside atmosphere in a genuine old-style cabin. The cabin is located at the yard area of Arvila farm.
There is no need to look far for activities. You can ask the owner about the possibility of various countryside experiences like horse riding, haycart rides, archery or even agility with eastern Finncattle.
Sheep and chickens live near the cottage during the summer. During your stay you can get to know the animals at no extra charge. During the winter, you can visit the barn with cows, sheep, horses and ponies if you wish, for a small fee. A visit to the barn must be arranged in advance with the owner.

In the vicinity of the farm you can go hiking on nature trails and traditional landscapes, berry and mushroom picking or even sit downto the hut to brew soot pot coffee. Hut can be booked free of charge with the accommodation. The nature trails starting next to the cottage (400 m and 2.5 km) run in the vicinity of the farm. Nature trails are open during the summer (a shorter route is also available to a limited extent outside of summer time).
