Saarijärvi – the Stone Age Village of Saarijärvi

The Stone Age Village of Saarijärvi invites visitors to relive the atmosphere of the Stone Age and travel back in time to explore the origins of Finns. The Stone Age Village offers a glimpse into the past, where a hunter had just returned from hunting, a mother had knitted clothes to keep her baby warm and fishing nets had just been hung up to dry. Visitors have the opportunity to try rowing a dugout canoe and cooking like their ancestors.
