In the wilderness, surrounded by fells, there is a lively and warm little village. Some are familiar with it, others not at all. “Is this really Finland?” many are wondering aloud. Jump on a bicycle and admire the wild and genuine nature. You yourself will set the tempo, time of year and time of day. Cycle on a beautiful summer day, beneath the midnight summer sun or in the midwinter frost. There are cycling routes from cross-country routes to those you can take on city bikes; from all-day trips to quick visits. There are 444 kilometres of marked routes, and winter routes are now being introduced. There is a lot to see, and you will never run out of road or trail. When you look around on the top of a fell, the only thing you will see anywhere is wild nature. The wind will blow away your worries and stress, and your thoughts will be in this moment, far from everything, in the middle of nowhere.
