Messilä Activities in Winter

Downhill skiing and snowboarding. Rising 222 meters above sea level, Messilä ski resort is a popular destination in Southern Finland. The resort is a good choice especially for families with children, as there is a separate Children's Village available.

Skiing. Messilä is a good destination for skiing lovers as there is a total of 70 kilometers of cross-country skiing trails available in the area. Skiing activities can also be easily accomplished in the night-time as 20 kilometers of the tracks are illuminated.

Snowshoeing. If you want to experience untraveled trails in a forest, you can rent snowshoes and go on a trip to beautiful woodland. Snowshoes can be hired for example at SkiMac Messilä's equipment rental company.

Snowmobiling. The program service company JumpUp organizes a series of snowmobile safaris for travelers who want to enjoy the snowy landscapes on a snowmobile.

Messilä Activities During the Summer Season

Messilä Golf. In Messilä you can play golf on a full 18-hole course. Built in 1990 and renovated in 2009-2011, the course offers 60 hectares of playing area. The golf course has hosted many Finnish championship competitions over the years.

Hiking. The 8.6 kilometer long route around Tiilijärvi offers the hikers a variety of forest landscapes, boardwalks and swimming places. The partially marked and easy-to-navigate route leads to the most beautiful spots in the area.

Paintball. The program service company JumpUp arranges paintball events in Messilä. Paintball offers fast-paced action for anyone interested in group games.

Horse Riding. In the immediate vicinity of Messilä, there is also a high-quality horse riding school, Okeroisten talli. The stable is characterized by the fact that all horses live as organically as possible in the area. Whether you are an experienced pioneer or an early-beginner, the riding school offers practical tips to increase your skills.
