Tangomarkkinat, held in Seinäjoki every July, is one of the most popular music events in Finland. Established in 1985, Tangomarkkinat is actually the oldest tango festival in the whole world. Every year, more than 100,000 visitors attend the festival, making it one of the highligts of Finnish Summer. The festival culminates in a gala night where the best tango singers are crowned as tango royals of the year.
