Villa Paratiisi (Paradise) in Vihti is the perfect place to relax and live like locals: to experience the way Finnish people spend time in their summer cottages. The cottage is located by a peaceful lake, neighbouring the Nuuksio national park, just half an hour drive from Helsinki airport. You can stay overnight , have sauna and enjoy nature in different ways with us.
The main building has a spacious and atmospheric living room with a fireplace and two bedrooms one with two beds and the other with three beds. On the premises we have two small cottages where a total of 9 persons can stay overnight in three rooms. The wood heated sauna is located in the main house. We have a campfire just by the lake and a covered terrace for dinners. We provide the catering, we are focus on wild food and prepare most of the food by open fire: salmon, game, wild mushrooms, herbs and berries.
We organise versatile nature activities: summertime you can use the canoes or rowing boats on the lake, go hiking in the woods, pick berries and mushrooms. Wintertime we can go by a kick sledge or snowshoes across the frozen lake. We can organise ice-fishing and ice-swimming. We have a campfire suitable for lunch or a coffee brake while enjoying Finnish folk music and traditional songs. We are specialised in Finnish traditions and with us you can experience the nature in a unique way. You can explore the myths of the King of the Forest, the bear, or have a particular trip of Kalevala (the Finnish epic) in the woods.

During wintertime guests may try ice swimming in the lake.

Rowing boat belongs to the rental, in addition you can hire kayaks, canoes and SUP-boards, wintertime snowshoes ans kick sleds.
